We are not just a quad rental. We are a team of locals from Merzouga who love sharing the dunes, the silence and the hospitality of the Sahara with travellers from all over the world.

Our Story

Born Between
the Dunes of Erg Chebbi

Merzouga Quad Bike was started by young people from Merzouga who grew up playing on the sand of Erg Chebbi. We wanted to show visitors the desert the way we know it — not only the famous big dune, but the quiet valleys, the nomad tracks, the oasis around Merzouga Lake and the best spots to watch the sun go down.

Today we run quad, buggy and camel trips from our base on the N13 road, from a one-hour ride to several days with a night in a desert camp.
